This evening, Washougal City Council passed the marijuana bill, indefinitely banning production, processing, and sales in the city.  The vote was 5 to 2, with Paul Greenlee, Jennifer McDaniels, Dave Shoemaker, Dan Coursey and Michelle Wagner voting to make the temporary moratorium permanent.  Councilors Brent Boger and Joyce Lindsey voted against the permanent ban.  With the sunset expiring on Thursday, this was an emergency meeting requiring five votes to pass the bill.
