My family and I have been active members of Camas since 1999. My personal involvement includes serving for 17 years on the Camas Planning Commission. I’ve also been involved with the Camas Education Foundation, and the Camas School District Superintendent’s budget committee.

My professional experience includes 6 years as an active duty Army Officer as well as 25 years of Executive Leadership in a variety of medical device companies. I believe, and have demonstrated, that effective leadership and communication can achieve positive results.

I am running because I believe in Camas: What we have been, are now and can be in the future. I also believe we need to focus on the core elements of success for our community. This includes a fulfillment on our vision as a city, economic and land use planning for the future, and strong fiscal accountability to the taxpayer.

This can be achieved through extensive community communication and engagement. In the end, this builds trust which is the foundational element from which we continue to develop our community. I would welcome the opportunity to serve the citizens of Camas as a City Council member.
